Outside Sales Team

Territory Managers are the catalyst that makes everything work. The old adage that “nothing happens until somebody sells something” is never more true than in today’s business environment.

Telemarketing, mailings, and national advertising do not work alone. Along with these tools, territory managers are making face to face sales calls, selling features and benefits of manufacturers’ products, and providing service after the sale.

Our territory managers cycle sales calls to wholesalers on a four week schedule. The larger businesses are seen more often and the smaller customers are scheduled between six to eight week intervals.

The company has seven territory managers who call on wholesalers and contractors. We have one full time showroom/builder representative who calls on architects, builders, and any other people involved in influencing the specification of a product.

The company’s field sales force has over one hundred and fifty years experience in selling to wholesalers and contractors. The sales force is constantly being trained and motivated through available sales programs and meetings by manufacturers. In addition, a company sales meeting is held every eight weeks to discuss new products, problems, or to emphasize old features and benefits to keep people up to date.
